I do believe I've stayed at the Shanghai JW 3 times (twice as a Plat and once as a Gold.) And all three times I was upgraded to a suite room. I do believe that 2 of the trips were only for 1 night and 1 trip was for 2 nights. So none of them were long stays. And all my stays were a few years ago.

But for me, I don't remember any real difference in treatment as a Gold versus a Plat.
