I got another call, same pitch, different heavy accent.

This time I listened long enough to determine it was a time share pitch. In order to get my "free" ticket anywhere Delta flies, I would have to listen to a 90-minute presentation. This is "informative and fun".

Nope. No time share presentation is of any interest to me. Click.

In other news, a friend of mine in Germany, with a German land line telephone number, got the Microsoft "Security" scam call this morning. The caller asked, with a heavy accent, "Do you speak English?". When my friend answered, "yes", the caller started in on the usual Microsoft anti-virus scam. My friend started responding in German, and the caller hung up.

I am hoping this thread shows up in a Google search and serves as a warning to people receiving similar calls. It's not a free ticket. It's a time share pitch, just like all the others you regularly toss in the trash.
