In truth the two central Holiday Inns are much of a muchness. But I prefer the "other" Holiday Inn. It's quite close to the Continental, but has the real advantage of being within an easy walk of the metro line from the airport.

The Continental has virtually identical rooms, except for a single suite on most floors. On the other hand the HI has a quirky mix of rooms with different size and shape - although all furnished in the standard corporate way. It's also got a fully functioning restaurant. And a swimming pool on the roof .

Prices are much the same at both hotels.

For Plats both hotels hand out suites`on a whim - you might have to ask for it, and you might not have your wish come true. The Holiday Inn has an executive floor for Plats, and a wider range of rooms there. The Continental has executive rooms, but I think they become exec rooms by putting a chocolate bar in them.
