For Plats both hotels hand out suites`on a whim - you might have to ask for it, and you might not have your wish come true. The Holiday Inn has an executive floor for Plats, and a wider range of rooms there. The Continental has executive rooms, but I think they become exec rooms by putting a chocolate bar in them.
The executive rooms in HI Continental are suites.
