Are there any A A staff in PVG? I thought they were all contract staff. We were delayed out of HKG due to fog in Shanghai a couple of weeks ago and missed our connection to ORD even though the flight was still on the ground in PVG. There was no one meeting the flight and the transfer desk was closed so we had to go through immigration and re check in. The check in staff was efficient and put us on the LAX flight a few hours later, but if there had been AA staff meeting the flight and knowing there were passengers making with a delay making a tight connection I'd like to think we might have made it.
