I have not been there in years, so it may be updated today to elevate it to the current standards of the brand
as these photographs seem to demonstrate; but the first time I stayed at that hotel property, the concept of “Garden Inn” was still new and I really did not like it at first — probably because I did not initially understand the concept. It felt old and dreary back then.
Circle back to my earlier comment... there are very few "purpose built" 2XTrees while there are even fewer rebranded HGI's.
I travel lots so I happen to appreciate the variety of styles of the 2XTrees. The HGI's are just boring to me.
