I agree on the consistency of the two brands (DT up and down, HGI solid), but I much prefer the DT "Sweet Dreams" beds to the adjustable HGI beds that invariably end with me sunken into a cavern in the center regardless of setting. The bed is usually the only part of the hotel I really see on most my travels so that can trump most other things.
