Having flown into and out of ASE (even back when it was 1000 feet shorter), I'd say that I got more nervous from standard SFO approaches (that look like you will land in the bay) and reverse BUR approaches/takeoffs (that do a steep turn and dive over the Angeles Crest) than any Aspen flight...even when its snowing.

...and don't even get me started on flying from ONT to LAX in a Beechcraft during a wicked Santa Anna, with 40-60 MPH gusting crosswinds and serious air turbulence.
