That makes no sense...you're saying businesses should be able to charge whatever they want? Good luck with that one when the plane, train and others fares get bumped up according to that logic!

I did originally state that we were told to make our own ways to our final destination from Stansted, not offered an option such as a coach at BA's expense, although we could claim back transport costs according to the pilot with no further details.

That's exactly what I'm arguing... I paid for 2 things - to depart from newcastle and land at heathrow, nothing else. It did not happen therefore I did not get the service I paid for. If i asked for a taxi at a fixed cost to Heathrow and he dropped me off in Hounslow, would I be expected to pay him for the journey so far? No.
