I will be traveling DTW to AMS to MAN. I'd like to arrange an 8-10 hour layover in AMS so I have time to take the train to see the city. I tried building the trip as 2 separate legs to get past Delta's 4-hour maximum connection filter. But it still only presents me with the same AMS to MAN flight as when I build it as a connecting trip. I know KLM offers several AMS to MAN flights later in the day, but I can't figure out how to make Delta's site present these as options.

Any advice? Thanks!
