It's a bit of a rushed itinerary, and if you're not into hiking, cut out the hiking stuff and break everything else into two days.
As for photo ops, get to the Palace when they first open before the masses of tourists show up and when the sun is relatively low. And the changing of the guards ceremony will give you some good photos as well.
