First, it was not their own gate.
Second, airside at STN closes for a few hours each night. I assume that during this time neither airline staff nor their handling agents can get into this part of the terminal. This seems to have been part of the problem.
The main issue, tho', appears to be the refuelling. Does anyone know/have any idea why this did not take place?
