I bought one for the GF for Christmas since she was unhappy with Android (my personal OS of choice). She loves it!! It has great integration with her laptop/desktop, awesome map apps and it's a very intuitive UI. Get the two piece protective case on Amazon <$5, and it has a substantial feel in the hand. We both have Tmo and on overseas trips, her signal quality has been similar to mine.
