family (total 5 passengers) flew today LAX-GDL on UA 221. initially, delay was 1h08m due to "aircraft maintenance", then it turned to a 2h50m delay, same reason. Then, they changed planes which resulted in an overall delay of 4h50m from scheduled departure, are the passengers owed compensation? if so, what?
