It's sometimes a hassle to deal with loose bottles and snacks presented at check-in when your hands are already full with luggage, key packet, etc.
It was a full bottle. And I agree it is a hassle to deal with loose bottles and liked the gift bags to carry them in. Last night I had to throw the water bottles in my rollerbag to get them to my room.
