For the record, while the possibility of serious snow in the Sierra is never to be ignored, this winter Yosemite has been atypically warm and , alas, very dry. Snowpack is something like 20% of normal for this time of year. Recently, high temps have been near 60° F, and lows in the mid to high 30's. Unless conditions change considerably, the waterfalls will not be at their best this spring.
One of my best Yosemite visits was in March several years ago. Gorgeous shining snow, but daytime walking in shirtsleeves in the sunny parts of the lower valley elevations. But we went prepared for snow, in terms of vehicle and clothing, weren't trying to do a quick dash in and out, and were simply lucky to not hit any snowstorms,
