Even the food in the UA clubs in individual wrappers, the wrappers are touched by other people, and then you use your hands to open the wrappers and put the food (cracker, cheese, carrot) directly into your mouth. It's a germapalooza. I got so sick the last time I passed through a UA club.
I think I was in YVR domestic a week ago when I grabbed a couple napkins. I used one to grab the tongs, pick up a cookie, and transfer it to another napkin. A nearby guest looked at me strangely, but I've read too much on FT to do it any other way
Although this morning in YYZ domestic, it completely slipped my mind, and I used the tongs without a napkin (

) to grab french toast, "omelettes", hash browns, and some other tasty stuff I didn't realize they had.
