Well, a flash Lincoln Navigator with blacked out windows would be a sure thing to avoid. But there should be minivans that will blend right in.
Thanks. I thought a minivan would be a safer bet. Avis/Hertz do not rent Navigators in MX but they do rent Suburbans and minivans. I have a feeling that the Suburban is best avoided.

As to Bonampak, I think it's easier to take a tour from Palenque at this time - and never be on road 307 after dark for any reason.
