And ryanair's lack of infrastructure is ryanair's fault.

Yes, irrops happened. The wife was on a £15 ticket BCN-LHR-MAN a few months ago on BA. The BCN flight was delayed, so on arrival at LHR she headed to the £200+ a night sofitel and got a good nights sleep, before getting a flight up to MAN in the morning.

Ryanair has a weather related delay and you spend the night on the plane, where passengers are left in such distraught state that they phone the police (according to the video).

Ryanair should never have boarded a plane that didn't have any fuel. They should have put people in hotels and rescheduled the flight for the next morning. They didn't, they saved £15000, and the ryanair fan club will continue to fly with ryanair.
