I am on a quest. Yahillwe contacted me earlier today to ask if I was in Paris yesterday evening. I wasn't - I was happily ensconced in London. However, she'd spotted someone who looked just like me - mannerisms, everything.

I therefore need to go to Paris and hunt down my double. Everyone has a double, so they say, although I find this hard to believe for some. Would the uniqueness that is Ms Pucci Galore have a double on this earth? I doubt it.

Anyway, some of you may recall in the 'possible Do's' thread from a couple of months ago, Paris was briefly mooted.

I'm therefore re-kindling this flame. The idea would be a Do on a Saturday afternoon/evening, enabling people to travel in for the weekend, enjoy the Do, and also enjoy what Paris has to offer for the rest of the weekend. This one should go down well with any Other Halves/Significant Others. I know my OH wouldn't take a huge amount of persuading to come. Particularly if other OHs are in on it.

As Paris is Yahillwe's home, she's invitee d'honneur (or whatever the correct saying is). Initial possible date is the last weekend in April - 26th-27th. The weather should be pleasant, and it's a weekend both Yahillwe and I can do as a kick-off.

Please can you respond if...
i) You are, in theory, 'in' at this stage (I'm not asking for firm commitments - only sounding people out right now)
ii) Your +1 is also 'in', in theory
iii) You would have otherwise been 'in' but that date doesn't work (important as we could switch to another weekend a bit later in the year)
