"no need to present card if using Verified by Visa ...." is ongoing policy.

"Have to provide your credit card to be eligible for this fare" is added just for this promotion.

"provide your card" not= "present your physical card"

"provide your card" : courtesy notice that if you enter a non-Singapore-HSBC card your transaction will be rejected

"present your physical card": standard T&C that applies to all online credit card transactions. There is no conflict between this and the discount offer
