I got a mail offer for 50K MR points for the BRG card. I read it multiple times and it had no language about having the card in the past. Normally it states you could not have had the card in the last year.

I last applied for the BRG card in 11/12 and cancelled it 8/13, which was only 6 months ago.

Can I really get the bonus again or will I just be dissapointed? If I don't get the points, would I still at least get the no fee for the 1st year? As a consolation it would at least keep my points active since I am cancelling my last AMEX card soon.

Have others tried this and what were your results?
