But if your dragon doesn't know that, then its easier for them to make up a rule to deny you entry and then to remain in denial about the fact they have done so (by refusing you any recourse). But don't worry, I'm sure someone will be along soon to explain how this was your fault or come up with an implausible scenario to defend the dragon's behaviour

As you say, though, manual override is your (easy) friend.
