We enjoyed our stay at this property and I'd rate it more highly than the Conrad Hong Kong.

Hotel is brand spanking new, our room on an exec floor was a nice size, bathroom was large with a giant shower. The ladies working in the exec lounge were always very helpful and the food/drink offerings in the lounge were quite good. As always, breakfast is better in the restaurant than in the lounge, but the lounge breakfast here was quite good and much more convenient.

The hotel is a 10 minute walk from the Shekou Ferry Terminal and a 5 minute walk to the Sea World metro station. Only negative is that taxi drivers don't yet know where the hotel is located and directing them may be a challenge if you don't speak some Mandarin.

In Sea World (basically next door), you owe it to yourself to have an excellent Italian dinner at Trattoria DaAngelo. We also tried a place in Sea World named Yes Thai - it was a horrible interpretation of Thai food.
