Use Evernote to take pictures with your smartphone of the receipts and VRs or GCs then toss everything. Electronic records are accepted as equal to paper copies by the IRS. That will save you a ton of space. My wife would kill me if I had shoeboxes of MS receipts taking up space in our house.
