It was a joke, just pointing out the unrealistically high QF J fare being ten times more than a Y seat on an LCC.
Last month I flew Scoot biz PER-SIN on a sale fare, reasonable flight but arriving 1am so booked a night at the Crowne Plaza in the airport, and together the cost was less than the QF Y fare (let alone the QF J fare)
