Well just back from my first trip as a gold member. Didn't get an upgrade which doesn't really bother me in this hotel but did get the free breakfast which was great as not in my room rate. Also got the gold amenity package which is macaroons, bottle of red wine and a voucher for a round of drinks in either of the bars! Quite pleased with that - not sure if I will get the wine every stay - could get messy if I do!!
