DoubleTree varies all over the place - from some pretty nice, new or refurbished properties that automatically upgrade higher status holders to executive floors and provide hot cooked breakfast buffets to those that are recycled remnants of DoubleTree Clubs or recycled properties and properties that do not treat statusholders with much love at all. One DoubleTree (now gone from the chain, thank goodness,) even declined to provide stay or day credit, HH points, or even a bottle of water - to any HH member of any status.
