I have not flown the outbound yet. But I think you're getting at what I'm asking is that I can change the inbound according to fare rules only after I take the outbound segment, correct? Am I still subject to fare difference, or is it just Y availability at that point? I'm reasonably confident that there will be seats still since I could make the change at least 10 days before the first return leg.
I'm trying to extend my ICN stopover an extra day. This means at this point my BKK-ICN segment has to be reissued also, even though I'm only trying to change the ICN-IAD segment (since the fare is IAD-BKK). So I guess that makes it a little bit more complicated haha.
