Does Rouge Non-stop (YYZ/SJO) in J justify risk of less service than COPA or Avianca?

There is not much if any savings in J but it is non-stop vs. a stop in PTY or SAL, but my experience with both AV (formerly TACA) and COPA has been first rate and connections in SAL or PTY are dead easy, vs. Miami.

But this whole Rouge thing seems pretty cobbled together, so are there semi-J amenties, lounge, luggage, early boarding etc., and just 35" seats or is the experience overall second rate?

One good thing, I suppose is no issues with connections but SAL as an alternative involves about 3 minutes of walking plane to plane and they have had an enviable record of on time performance (partially because they shade the arrival times pretty liberally).

Given an equal price would this be sufferable to take advantage of the non stop service?
