It's so simple to offer better perks for fliers who earn 3MM+ because there are relatively few out there. And truly, it doesn't cost DL much considering the amount of money they garner from those who do actually fly that much.
BamaGirl--- I agree with you 100%. I'm at about 3.5MM and continue to be disappointed in DL lack of recognition. I'd like to see DL line up with the other airlines programs at 3MM (like PM) and 4MM (DM). Gifts etc are a slap in the face as you say. I remember how special it was to get the letterhead stationary at 1MM. I regret not switching airlines after reaching 2MM. DL offers very little for flyers over 2MM.
