I mean, they write the agreement terms for a reason, so they don't lose thousands of dollars because an intern typed in the wrong number. I don't think it's right to demand "protection" against something that's so obviously a mistake. Who knows how many bookings they had to dig though to clear them all out. A week seems pretty reasonable to me for something that's going to occur so far in advance

Well if I booked a non refundable night at their hotel 6 months out and booked it for June 15th instead of July 15th, I really doubt they would be happy to cancel it due to something that was "obviously" a mistake.
