Change inbound/return flight fee and fare difference
I'm trying to change my return flight, but the fare difference seems out of whack.

When I reprice it online, the difference is 163 USD for the new flight. The Malaysia call center quoted me a fee of 300 USD.

I doubt Q-class will open up again between now and departure, as it seems all Q-fares are gone around my return date and it's probably the cheapest to begin with. Here is the fare if anyone cares to look it up: QLW50BSP. The way I read the fare is that you are permitted one inbound change with no reissue fee.

Is there any way to get around the fare difference? Or at least get it close to what the website says?
