A 'dirext' flight award QF2 LHR-SYD is 100k avios in J one way. So 400k return for two. If you need to book it as two awards LHR-DXB-SYD then you will not have enough avios.
£2800 is a good price however as they are EK code flights you cannot earn avios even on a QF metal flight.
