We are planning a trip to Costa Rica this summer (August). We are a family of 4: me, DH, DD 22, DD19. We want a mix of adventure (zip lining, etc.) and lazy days by the pool. We have enough points for 10 days. I was thinking maybe 5 days at Los Suenos and 5 days at the JW Guanacaste.

Does anyone have opinions on if this will meet our needs? From my research here, it seems like it would. It looks like the hotels offer trips to zip-lining, etc.

Would there be any benefit to staying in San Jose for 5 days instead of the Guanacaste? Would that be a better base for adventure?? Although I prefer to alternate adventure day then beach/pool day rather than front load them into an intense 5 day stay somewhere.
