Tasks like CVS visits require ID, which (in my experience) is checked against the name on the card. You could make someone an authorized user on your cards, but that's obviously risky.
I won't separate myself completely from this. I will be involved in some of the tasks which require my involvement.
On a different note what I have noticed in my cases the cashier looks at the ID and CC and matches the name without caring who handed over the ID and CC.
