UPDATE:

I think the hotel is missing out on a few things. For example: there are no pen in the room, no slippers, no minibar (have to call for items), etc.

Furthermore, the gym/pool area is vast, but really tired and damp. When it's raining outside water is leaking from the glassroof and down in the pool, haha. There is also some kind of swimming school for children at the pool on some evenings. Both on Sunday and last night it was impossible to use it, cause some male supervisor and the parents were teaching say 12 kids on how to swim. Very noisy and annoying and water everywhere. Strange they can take up the whole place just like that! Maybe the facility is outsourced and they rent out their facilities, but still - it should be available to all guests.

The offerings in the lounge is quite good, despite charging for alcohol. Usually I find the lounges in North American to be inferior compared to the ones in Europe and Asia. But this one have solid offerings.

PS! "You are welcome to bring non-registered guests for a SMALL fee of CAD 30", a sign says. Haha!
