i haven't flown long-ish distance on WN since grad school, almost booked it this week for SMF-STL, but ended up going with AA instead to be able to bank miles to AS.

UA offered me the exceptional option of SMF-DEN on a CR2 followed by DEN-STL on a E145 if i was willing to spend $200 more they would have allowed me to route via ORD with at least A320 on the first leg followed by CR7 on the 2nd leg, but R was 0 and i'm done with the CPU "game". $450 one way only got me to a U fare, M was north of $800.
