Just Returned from the Venetian, I am a Plat Ambassador, Really nice hotel with extremely comfy beds, but IC Status we really not really recognized.
Check In - it was 10 pm and invited desk was closed so stood on line for 20 minutes.
Had booked a Rialto View Suite NS with 2 queens
Was offered an upgrade to a 1500 sq ft 1 bedroom with sofa bed so we took it, when we got to the room we found out it was a smoking room but we were to tired to compain. We had to call for blankets and pillows for the sofa bed and a package came up while we were gone from the room and just put on the floor, they did not make up the bed.
Sofa bed was so uncomfortable that our daughter slept on the floor instead
No Newspaper delivery
60 minutes in the morning for room service coffee only
2nd day still did have any water or fruit had to fight for it with 2 frustrating phone calls.
Only received the water once
Was told we had to be checked out by 11am later when questioned we were told 4pm
No free pay movie
No in room gift
No club lounge
1 bathrobe for 3 people
Great location, huge rooms, great amenities in the bathroom, food was good, night clubs were fab, gamnling so, so.
Not sure they are going to see my $$$ again, not even close to 5 star lux IMHO
