When I took a taxi from the JW to the India Gate in 2009, it took about 45 minutes using the Sea Link and cost (IIRC) 600 Rs. To be fair, that was on a Sunday. Taxis are cheap in Mumbai, but I strongly recommend getting them through the hotel, as they'll get you fair ones. (Read
