sometimes it just takes patience. Several times Ive flown 5 segments from ANC to somewhere with a checked bag. Unfortunately I only know of 1 agent that knows how to check a bag for more than 4 segments in ANC, merely because the "system" only allows for 4 segments "electronically" ....god bless computers right?
She seems to be the only CSA/GA working between 7pm and 12am that knows how to do handwrite bag tags
And has 24 years experience working for AS ^ Hope she got her fair share of that employee profit share! You find the same thing when trying to segment out a trip when trying to credit specific segments to specific carriers
