From the article:
All Nippon Airways, the launch customer for Boeing's 787 Dreamliner, thinks the cabins in the new-age jet should be a bit darker.
That's according to Reuters, which writes ANA " says the plane's electronic dimmable windows are not dark enough for long haul flights and has asked (Boeing) to come up with a way to make the plane's cabin darker."
"For our passengers to have good sleep, we realized that it is important to offer appropriate darkness during flights especially for long haul," ANA spokesman Ryosei Nomura says to Reuters.
In addition to finding a solution for yet-to-be-delivered 787s, ANA also is looking into installing traditional pull-down shades on the 787s already in its fleet, according to Reuters.
I am glad to see ANA agrees with me and the others about darkness on their flights to assist sleeping.
