No sales at Christmas and New Year seems unusual.

IIRC I think the Law states that something has to be advertised at a higher price at the RRP for 28 days (?) before they can then reduce it and call it a 'Sale? Not 100% sure of all the specifics though.

Back on topic, I am sure in the last Avios Sale (or BA Avios sale ) one of them had a glitch where you could buy the now slightly higher allowance cheaper than normal. Somewhere on Raffles HFP, I think.
