If it OK to put a paperclip marking a visa on my USA passport? I have about a dozen visas and the proper one can be hard to find. Last time I traveled, the lazy gate agent at customer-hostile United threw my passport at me after 2 seconds in frustration. I seek to avoid irritating lazy and mean gate agents in the future. I could do that by avoiding United and flying, say, Singapore. But that isn't always possible.
