Exactly.... But it does prove once again that if you can avoid it you shouldn't buy codeshares or tickets on other than the operating airline stock. Sometimes that's unavoidable though, and it shouldn't really make a difference. But it does create the possibility for airlines to try and shift the blame, even when the rules how this should be handled are quite clear.

And use OLCI whenever you can as soon as it opens.
