Chase Sapphire Pref ---- Visa ($1.88 next day) ---found on Wiki first page

Isn't the Chase Sapphire Prefer a MC so why would it work on "visa" for billpay? Will it automatically be checkfreepay or do I have to request so it is not MO to be sent?
