Do not discard the vr cards
so if I keep playing this game I'm going to take a photo of each Vanilla reload card bar code and PIN...
On Feb 2, 2014 we loaded two $500 VR cards
On Feb 7, 2014 we logged on to load two more $500 VR cards, discovering the entry "Cash Reload Reversal Incomm Vanilla Pack Reload Web -$500.00" and a balance $500 less than expected.
Last year we had a 5 inch stack of used cards and tossed it and all subsequent cards, figuring that with both the VR and AMEX Bluebird confirmation numbers and a verification of the new balance on the Bluebird web site after each card load we were OK.
Without the PIN, the Vanilla reload people cannot help you.
Even WITH the Vanilla and AMEX Bluebird confirmation numbers the agents at Bluebird were not reassuring: "Don't worry about that, your current balance is correct" or "You need to contact the VR company".
...??!?!
Spoke with Graceson x43802, Justin x74653, Matts id 74102, and two other agents. One call was disconnected. Reaching an agent involves verification steps which the agent re-verifies so each call takes time, making a disconnect after five or ten minutes more painful.
Bottom line DO NOT DISCARD THE VR CARDS until the funds are spent off the Bluebird card!
Oh, and if this happens to you, reader, after the first waiting period ("Wait 10 days") we were assigned a case number and advised to "Wait 7 business days". See if you can get a case number on your first call in, saving the extra delay.
