24 hours in Cyprus: Nicosia or Larnaca?
As part of a trip to North Africa, one of the options I have is a 24 hour stopover in Cyprus (arrive 11am, leave 12pm the next day).

Just looking at where to stay. Larnaca is closer to the airport (6km).

Nicosia is 40km from the airport, but looks like a more interesting place, including being able to cross over to Northern Cyprus (I have an EU passport so this looks like no problem (?)).

Any advice or feedback on this would be much appreciated.
