So one of my suitcases were shot on my last trip. Being I didn't want to deal with warranty on an old bag while on vacation, I picked up a Rimowa Topas 29".

Okay I assumed these were all made in Germany (my other ones are), but after getting home I found this one is made in Canada.

Is this new? I'm not worried much, but curious; of course my new bag is already dented and banged up good on it's first transpacific flight and seems to be hold up well.

Also it did not come with a suit carrier was told I needed to buy one separately. Is this new policy?
