So my SO got off late from work yesterday (Valentine's Day) so we lost our reservation at a place we were planning to dine at. We called around everywhere and they were all booked up as you can imagine, even the bars at the nice restaurants were full. I decided to give Concierge a shot.

The man I spoke with was honest and said all he can do is look on his computer and see what they have. Somehow he found two seats at the same restaurant we just called 10 minutes ago. I got a call back from the Host and she told us we could have two seats at the Bar - something we couldn't have gotten when we called ourselves. So kinda weird that they could find some seats, but I couldn't, so good job Amex & their computers!
