The renovated (upper) floors' main benefit is fresher rooms, but it was a relatively low-budget renovation: the expected new wall decor, new sofa, new lighting and switches, an odd freestanding 'column' holding the TV, new carpet, perhaps new bedding, and I think that's about it. The drawers' leather top can be heavily pitted probably by the old CRT TV's feet, and the bathroom still has a bidet where a separate shower stall would have been more welcome, and possible with a costlier reshuffle.

The old rooms are somewhat reminiscent of a late 80's Greek home, while the club decor is rather posher and more atmospheric. There is nothing Greek about the renovated rooms (such as the blue drapes in the club rooms). All of them are acceptable, but the non-Acropolis lower floors' view can be drab enough to cause closing the curtains all day.
